Criteria

Motivated and literate.

Objectives

The course covers:

  1. General Information
  2. Vital Signs
  3. Acute Illness
  4. Wounds and Bleeding
  5. Fractures
  6. Poisoning/Corrosion, Inhalation, Swallowing, Injection

Mandatory

The OHS Act requires requires that there is at least 1 trained and certified First Aider per 50 employees available during normal working hours (see Risk Management Manual.

Minimum of 12 delegates per course, per region, are required
Cancellations must be sent to PHIPD, 1 month before commencement date of course. If any cancellations are made after this time, the full fee will be charged to you
