Protea Hotel Kruger Gate, renowned for its spectacular treehouse-style setting, has opened a luxury spa to give guests all the pampering they want inbetween viewing the Big Five in the Transfrontier Park. One of the southern Kruger’s most well known establishments, the hotel, located just 100m from the Paul Kruger Gate of the park, introduced their brand new African Spa on the 1st of July. Treatments on offer include a full range of massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and a variety of packages individually suited to needs and tastes. Guests will be able to take up the wide variety of pampering services on offer from the comfort of their hotel room, or from the breathtaking hotel deck. The new operation has been in the works for a long while, based on huge demand from returning clients. Francois Meyer, General Manager of the hotel, feels that it is a natural progression for a facility of this nature. “The property lends itself to the concept of serenity. This spa seems like a natural fit for us, as it perfectly complements the beautiful views and natural splendour on offer,” Meyer said. The addition of a spa to an already formidable list of features serves to establish the Protea Hotel Kruger Gate as a full service facility, catering both for business and leisure clients in equal capacity. A popular choice for business visitors in the area with its 220-seater conference facility, the Protea Hotel Kruger Gate now offers a perfect distraction for the partners of visiting delegates. “We have a very popular conference venue, attracting visitors from far afield, many of whom bring their partners along for the experience. Substantial demand arose for a spa facility as a result, with guests looking to be pampered and entertained in their partners’ absence,” said Meyer. Demand has outstripped supply since the opening of the spa facility, with the hotel now considering a larger allocation of space and staff in order to increase capacity. The spa is open to all, with hotel guests receiving preferential rates and booking availability on treatments. For more information on Protea Hotel Kruger Gate, click here . |
