Directions from Cape Town International Airport

1. Take the N2 and follow the signs into Cape Town
2. When the highway forks, take the right fork which leads onto the Eastern Boulevard
3. When you get to the intersection at the end of the highway (at the Waterfront), you will see the Cape Town Convention Centre (CTICC) on your left
4. Cross over those traffic lights and at the next set of traffic lights, turn right
5. Go straight, following the signs to Sea Point / Camps Bay until you get to a large traffic circle
6. Cross over the circle and carry on straight, past the Green Point Stadium and Virgin Active Gym & Tennis Club (all on the right hand side).
7. At the next set of traffic lights, go straight and you will enter into Beach Road
8. Carry right along Beach Road for approximately 3km until you get to a smaller traffic circle
9. Turn left into Queens Road at the circle and then take the first road right into Alexander Road
10. The Protea Hotels President is the 2nd hotel on your left.

The Protea Hotel President boasts 349 bedrooms spread over 6 spacious floors.

Keeping up to date with international trends the hotel offers 1 of its 6 floors as a smoking floor. GUESTS are able to choose between Sea & Mountain facing rooms, as well as whether to have a twin (2 x ¾ beds) or a queen room. The hotel also offers 3 rooms for the disabled, including ramps & elevators wide enough to accommodate physically challenged GUESTS. Apart from their standard rooms the hotel also offers 1 & 2 bedroom apartments which are suitable for families or those just wanting a bit more space.

The hotel is currently undergoing a major rooms refurbishment and is happy to announce that by the end of 2011, they will have 3 newly refurbished floors, and they look forward to completing the room’s refurbishment by 2012.
